SAINT GEORGE — The Saint George Parish youth group attended the 2012 Steubenville Catholic Youth Conference in San Diego at the end of July, led by Father Tai Nguyen, the parish’s parochial vicar.

OGDEN — Benedictine Sister Iris Beckwith of the Sisters of Mount Benedict Monastery in Ogden has accepted a nursing position with the Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict at the Saint Benedict Monastery in St. Joseph, Minn.

DRAPER — For two days, Aug. 18-19, the Charismatic Renovation Catholic group together with the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City celebrated a family congress ‘My Family and I will serve the Lord, (Mi Familia y Yo serviremos al Señor)’, at the Skaggs Catholic Center in Draper.

OGDEN/SALT LAKE CITY – Dos parroquias de la Diócesis Católica de Salt Lake City celebraron matrimonios comunitarios haciendo con esto possible que decenas de parejas pudieran celebrar el Santo Sacramento del Matrimonio. Muchas de estas parejas habían estado casadas solo por el civil pero no en la iglesia, inclusive una de ellas por 67 años.
