SALT LAKE CITY — Bishop John C. Wester of the Diocese of Salt Lake City will present the annual Aquinas lecture Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at 3 p.m., at St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center, 170 South University, Salt Lake City. Bishop Wester is the chairman of the U.S. Bishops’ Committee on Migration, a member of the World Mission Committee, and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) liaison to Asia. He also serves on the board of directors for Catholic Relief Services (CRS).
>>>SALT LAKE CITY — Parents of students in the Catholic school system, as well as other interested families, will hear the stories of several Salt Lake area foster/adoptive families at a public forum on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Juan Diego Catholic High School. The forum is sponsored by the Utah Foster Care Foundation, in partnership with the school.
